FESTIVAL FILMS NIGHT
FESTIVAL FILMS NIGHT will be delighting visitors with the official selection of films and span 20 venues in Arkhangelsk, Severodvinsk and Novodvinsk, including cinemas, museums, libraries, community centers, creative spaces and clubs. On the Films Night, ARCTIC OPEN premier films and meet-the-artist sessions will be features in an unconventional setting. Venues will start their programs at 7 p.m. (and finish at 12 a.m.), allowing audiences to move from one film zone to another so as they can follow their own trajectories based on personal preferences and interest.
“We’ve designed ARCTIC OPEN as an open venue where audiences can meet and exchange feedback and questions with filmmakers, actors, producers and cinematographers. We have some positive experience with Festival Films Night from previous years, which comes as an unconventional format also for filmmakers themselves when they see their films shown in an unconventional setting and can feel the vibes from the audience and meet people face-to-face,” said ARCTIC OPEN Programmer Angelica Dolinina.
